The ice-pack visually informs the user when it should be removed, while also being
extremely flexible to conform to various parts of the body.

Research data collected from a user experience ice pack survey
Based on research findings, these are the issues to be addressed through an ice pack redesign
Existing modular systems are analyzed considering form and flexibility

3D PRINTED CONNECTION SYSTEM 1
This 3d printed connection system does not have a high expansion value, making it too rigid to conform well to the body
3D PRINTED CONNECTION SYSTEM 2
This mesh has a high expansion value, making it a flexible material. Final connection design must maintain this level of expansion
